Medical Practice → HIV/AIDS A positively healthy life – even with HIV.

Living with HIV is exactly that: living.

In the 1980s, HIV/AIDS had an agonizing impact on the world. Our founder, Dr. Gary Blick, lost many loved ones to the disease. He went on to devote his medical career to the care and treatment of the LGBTQ+ community and those living with HIV.

Now, 40 years later, you can live a long, healthy life even with an HIV infection. We help make that possible by offering testing, screenings, treatments, and guidance on how to achieve the best results, all grounded in one caring community.

OUR SERVICES

With an HIV diagnosis comes fears, questions, and uncertainty. Our personalized services help you understand and manage your condition.

medicalHIV Testing

Symptoms or not, it’s always a good idea to get tested for HIV and related conditions, such as HIV drug-resistance, HIV tropism, STIs, and more. It’s all available right in our office.

medicalTreatments

We create personalized treatment plans including every 8-week injectable therapy for HIV and its complications, such as anal cancer, chronic hepatitis, HIV wasting syndrome, and more. We also prescribe medical marijuana to help relieve HIV-related symptoms such as nausea, muscle pain, weight loss, and mood disorders.

medicalConsultations

Whether you are new to HIV treatment or have lived with it for years, we make sure your regimen keeps up with your needs. We even work with you to simplify your HIV treatment plan as needed.

medicalAnnual Wellness Exams

For HIV-positive patients, annual exams provide an opportunity for important preventative screenings, vaccinations, and conversations. You can also receive quarterly HIV lab work to ensure that your HIV stays undetectable.

medicalImmunizations

We recommend vaccinations for people living with HIV from diseases that may cause further complications, including the flu, meningococcal meningitis, pneumovax, and shingles.

medicalClinical Research Opportunities

We offer state-of-the-art clinical research opportunities for those who would like to advance the field of HIV medicine, while improving their own condition in the process.
