We are Health Care Advocates International (HCAI), home to Connecticut’s leading LGBTQ+ and HIV providers since 2016. HCAI exists to ensure everyone has access to comprehensive healthcare that treats the whole person, not just the diagnosis – through clinical care, pharmacy services, and fierce advocacy for those our healthcare system too often fails. 

Our LGBTQ+ friendly providers welcome you into a safe, judgement-free, and supportive environment free from stigma and discrimination. Fostering trust between our providers and our patients is essential.  

No matter what brings you to HCAI, our team is here as your allies, advocates, and confidants. With so many people on our team being part of the LGBTQ+ community, compassion and empathy come naturally. With our combined medical experience of over three decades, we are a step above when it comes to providing exceptional care to LGBTQ+ patients. Every provider and staff member is dedicated to furthering the HCAI mission of preventing LGBTQ+ and HIV discrimination.
