I am so excited join the HCAI team as the clinic's registered nurse. I graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing from Quinnipiac University in 2009 and have worked at Yale New Haven Hospital since. I started my career doing in-patient nursing before moving to a management role. Most recently, I spent 7 years as the practice nurse for an Oncology ambulatory clinic where I helped administer numerous ground-breaking clinical trials.
My nursing career has brought me so much joy and satisfaction, mainly due to my relationships with patients and the care I'm able to share on a daily basis. Joining HCAI is the perfect next step for me and I’m excited to share my compassion and knowledge with my fellow caregivers and the LGBTQ+ community. I cannot wait to meet all the HCAI patients and serve as a resource for them and their families.
Outside of work, my husband and I have two young daughters who we hope to raise in a world where they will be accepted and loved for who they are and who they choose to love. We enjoy traveling, being outside, and making fun memories with our friends and family.
